South Dakota High School Basketball - Winner holds off Mobridge-Pollock

The Winner Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Mobridge-Pollock Tigers to 51 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now have a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crow Creek for a non-league game on Monday, February 24. Winner will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 100-33 non-league loss to St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Mobridge-Pollock falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD) to confront the Warbirds in a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. The Warbirds go into the game with a record of 14-4. Wolsey-Wessington won 72-41 in their recent non-league game against Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD)
