High School Basketball - Akiak toppled by Non Varsity Opponent
February 21, 2025: , Non Varsity Opponent (, ) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Akiak Thunderbolts (Akiak, AK), 34-21 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Non Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 127-242 on the year. The travel to Hoonah (Hoonah, AK) to face the Braves in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Braves enter the match with a record of 7-4. Hoonah won 47-20 in their recent league challenge against Angoon (Angoon, AK)
In their next game, the Thunderbolts battle the Kalskag Grizzly Bears (Upper Kalskag, AK) in a 1A Greater Kuskokwim challenge, on Friday, February 21.
