In Friday's league contest, the host Reed City Coyotes basketball team scored a big 59-27 triumph over the Tri County Area Vikings.

The Coyotes (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Ithaca (Ithaca, MI). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Ithaca smashed Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI), 60-42, in a league contest.
