Kentucky High School Basketball - Nelson County can't hold off Fort Knox
February 21, 2025: Bardstown, KY 40004 Fort Knox Eagles (Fort Knox, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY), 40-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fort Knox advances its record to 17-2 on the year. The Eagles host Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 3-2.
The Cardinals now own a 18-1 record.
