Georgia High School Soccer - Bleckley County toppled by Macon County
February 21, 2025: Montezuma, GA 31063 Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Macon County moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Rutland (Macon, GA) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 2-3. Rutland lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA)
The Royals now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast for a 1A D-I Area 2 test on Monday, February 24. Bleckley County will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
