In Saturday's non-league bout, the Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA), by a tally of 12-4.

Next up, the Eagles encounter the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 23. Valley View will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Poly (Riverside, CA).
