In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Freedom Patriots basketball team scored a good 68-49 triumph over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 24. Freedom will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 16-10 record after their 68-51 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC).
