Michigan High School Basketball - University Liggett winner over Lutheran North
February 22, 2022: Macomb, MI 48042 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) basketball squad felled the host Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI), by a margin of 60-45.
The Knights (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Merritt Academy (New Haven, MI). The Mustangs go into the Inner State outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Merritt Academy thwarted Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI), 48-0, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Cranbrook Kingswood for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 24. Lutheran North will encounter a Cranes squad coming off a 46-35 non-league win over Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI). The Cranes record now stands at 4-11.
