In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN), by a margin of 51-49.

The Falcons (21-11) will now prepare for their outing against Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Grizzlies go into the non-league outing with a 25-5 record. In their last outing, Grainger held off Cocke County (Newport, TN), 60-52, in a non-league outing.

The Patriots now own a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greeneville for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 26.
