Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) and the host Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT), saw Newington's basketball squad knock off Southington by a tally of 56-37.

With the victory, Newington improves its record to 22-1 on the campaign. The Nor'easters travel to East Hartford (East Hartford, CT) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 18-2. East Hartford won 55-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillhouse (New Haven, CT)
