February 22, 2022: Douglasville, GA 30134 Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, February 25. Douglas County will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA).
The Lions now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alexander for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25. Lithia Springs will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
