In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Briar Woods Falcons basketball team scored a tight 46-41 triumph over the Patrick Henry Patriots.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 24. Briar Woods will attempt to move on its 22-3 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 20-4 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Riverside (Leesburg, VA).
