Georgia High School Soccer - Alexander held off by Wesleyan
February 22, 2023: Norcross, GA 30092 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) and the visiting Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA), saw Wesleyan's soccer squad get by Alexander by a margin of 3-2.
The Wolves now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Atlanta Christian for a non-league test on Friday, February 24. Wesleyan will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Alexander drops to 2-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) to meet the Panthers in a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, February 28. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Langston Hughes lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Tri-Cities (East Point, GA)
