February 22, 2024: St. Croix Falls, WI 54024 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the St. Croix Falls Saints (St. Croix Falls, WI) and the visiting Barron Golden Bears (Barron, WI), saw St. Croix Falls's basketball squad hold off Barron by a count of 66-62.
With the victory, St. Croix Falls upgrades its record to 5-19 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Northwestern (Maple, WI) to play the Tigers in a Heart O'North challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 17-7. Northwestern won 75-70 in their recent league challenge against Cumberland (Cumberland, WI)
Next up, the Golden Bears play the Amery Warriors (Amery, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Barron will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-14 record after their 64-59 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, WI).
