The Carter Cowboys basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Canton Eagles to 41 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cowboys now sport a 29-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paris for a non-league contest on Monday, February 26. Carter will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 60-58 non-league win over Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 22-10.

With the defeat, Canton moves to 21-15 on the year.
