The The Daniel Academy Lions basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Independence Home School Lions to 46 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 14-8 record.

The Lions (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Family (Topeka, KS). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Family was nudged by Blue Ridge Christian (Kansas City, MO), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
