Alaska High School Basketball - Mt. Edgecumbe tipped by Thunder Mountain
February 22, 2024: Juneau, AK 99801 The Thunder Mountain Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Mt. Edgecumbe Braves to 52 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Juneau-Douglas for a 4A Southeast contest on Friday, February 23. Thunder Mountain will meet a Crimson Bears team coming off a 44-38 league win over Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK). The Crimson Bears record now stands at 13-8.
The Braves (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK). The Kings enter the non-league contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Ketchikan was nudged by Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK), 44-38, in a league contest.
