In Saturday's non-league bout, the Carter Lions (Rialto, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ontario Christian Knights (Ontario, CA), by a tally of 10-3.

Next up, the Lions encounter the La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 24. Carter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Blackhawks enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Poly (Riverside, CA).

The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Valley View edged Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
