The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) and the visiting Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA), saw E.D. White's baseball team get by Central by a tally of 4-3.

The Cardinals (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Shaw was tipped by St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
