In Saturday's non-league game, the host Port Allen Pelicans baseball team scored a nice 16-2 victory over the Southern Lab Kittens.

The Pelicans (4-2) will now prepare for their game against White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, White Castle was overwhelmed by Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA), 18-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Kittens face the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 25. Southern Lab will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Benton (Benton, LA).
