In Saturday's non-league bout, the Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA) baseball squad edged the host St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA), by a tally of 8-7.

Next up, the Roadrunners encounter the Westminster Lions (Westminster, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 25. Saddleback will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA).

The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Jordan (Long Beach, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Jordan was nudged by Dominguez (Compton, CA), 8-5, in a non-league bout.
