Georgia High School Basketball - Clinch County toppled by Mitchell County
February 22, 2025: Homerville, GA 31634 Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA), 51-41 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Mitchell County advances its record to 18-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 26. The Buccaneers enter the battle with a record of 24-5. McIntosh County Academy won 48-35 in their recent non-league battle against Taylor County (Butler, GA)
The Panthers now own a 22-3 record.
