In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Lawrenceburg Tigers basketball team scored a close 52-50 triumph over the Connersville Spartans.

The Tigers (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN). The Twisters go into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 28. Connersville will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 21-1 record after their 53-42 league win over Winchester Community (Winchester, IN).
