California High School Volleyball - JSerra Catholic tips Newport Harbor

The JSerra Catholic Lions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) volleyball held off the host Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Lions (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Tesoro was nudged by Woodbridge (Irvine, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sailors play the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 22. Newport Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA).
