Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Oasis Christian Lions (Winter Haven, FL), 11-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Discovery moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Auburndale (Auburndale, FL) to battle the Bloodhounds in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 25. The Bloodhounds come into the match with a record of 1-1.

The Lions now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davenport for a non-league match on Thursday, April 3.
