The Central Valley Hawks triumphed over the host El Capitan Gauchos softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 24. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 15-13 non-league loss to Summerville (Tuolumne, CA).

The Gauchos (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverbank (Riverbank, CA). The Bruins enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Riverbank was routed by Pacheco (Los Banos, CA), 10-3, in a non-league challenge.
