The Glendale Nitros edged the visiting Lincoln Tigers softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Nitros meet the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 22. Glendale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 16-7 non-league win over Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA).

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy edged Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA), 16-7, in a non-league challenge.
