Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) and the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), witnessed Woodside's basketball squad topple Nansemond River by a margin of 37-22.

The Wolverines (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Pilots go into the non-league test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Norview notched a victory over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA), 66-22, in a league test.
