Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) and the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), saw Nitro's basketball squad wallop Point Pleasant by a tally of 47-23.

With the victory, Nitro improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ripley (Ripley, WV) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 18-5. Ripley won 56-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Winfield (Winfield, WV)
