Alaska High School Basketball - West Anchorage fells West Valley
February 23, 2022: Fairbanks, AK 99709 West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK), 47-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Anchorage upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bartlett (Anchorage, AK) to play the Golden Bears in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Thursday, February 24. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Bartlett won 53-33 in their recent league bout against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Wolf Pack play the Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 24. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 47-12 non-league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK).
