Georgia High School Baseball - Cambridge nips Riverwood
February 23, 2023: Milton, GA 30004 Cambridge Bears (Milton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cambridge upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bears host North Springs (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Spartans in a 5A Area 6 test on Monday, February 27. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-4. North Springs lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Gainesville (Gainesville, GA)
With the defeat, Riverwood falls to 1-7 on the season. The Raiders host Lakeside (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Vikings in a 6A Area 4 test on Monday, February 27. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-4.
