The Pamlico County Hurricanes basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Weldon Chargers to 48 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 25. Pamlico County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 59-42 non-league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 23-7.
