Start Spartans (Toledo, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH), 50-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Start upgrades its record to 21-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Springfield (Holland, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 18-6. Springfield won 41-37 in their recent non-league bout against Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH)
