Georgia High School Lacrosse - St. Pius X Catholic held off by Wesleyan
February 23, 2023: Norcross, GA 30092 Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA), 15-14 in a non-league battle.
The Wolves now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Northview for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 28. Wesleyan will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 16-10 league loss to Decatur (Decatur, GA). The Titans record now stands at 0-4.
In their next game, the Golden Lions clash with the North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA) in a 5A-6A Area 1 battle, on Monday, February 27. St. Pius X Catholic will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 21-1 league loss to Lakeside (Atlanta, GA).
