Texas High School Softball - Burkburnett bounces Independence
February 23, 2023: Burkburnett, TX 76354 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Burkburnett Bulldogs (Burkburnett, TX) and the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), witnessed Burkburnett's softball squad prevail over Independence by a count of 13-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Waxahachie for a non-league match on Friday, February 24. Burkburnett will face a Indians squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Indians record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Independence moves to 0-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX) to face the Bearcats in a non-league test on Friday, February 24. The Bearcats enter the test with a record of 6-3. Whitesboro won 15-0 in their recent non-league test against MacArthur (Irving, TX)
