Texas High School Softball - Royse City bounces Edgewood
February 23, 2023: Edgewood, TX 75117 Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waskom for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. Royse City will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Edgewood falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to White Oak (White Oak, TX) to battle the Roughnecks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Roughnecks enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. White Oak won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Canton (Canton, TX)
