Georgia High School Baseball - Milton nips Gilmer
February 23, 2024: Milton, GA 30004 Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Milton upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Cherokee (Canton, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-1. Cherokee won 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Ola (McDonough, GA)
With the defeat, Gilmer falls to 4-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-0.
