Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Palatka Panthers (Palatka, FL), 7-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Matanzas upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Menendez (St. Augustine, FL) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 27. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 1-1. Menendez lost 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL)

With the defeat, Palatka falls to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers host Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL) to battle the Green Wave in a non-league test on Monday, February 26. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 1-1. Father Lopez lost 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Deltona (Deltona, FL)
