Ohio High School Basketball - Norton knocked off by Firestone
February 23, 2024: Norton, OH 44203 The Firestone Falcons basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Norton Panthers to 57 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louisville for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 2. Firestone will play a Leopards squad coming off a 102-70 non-league win over Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 20-2.
Next up, the Panthers play the Elyria Catholic Panthers (Elyria, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 27. Norton will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 62-56 league loss to Rocky River (Rocky River, OH).
