Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN) and the host Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN), saw Lac qui Parle Valley's basketball squad knock off Hancock by a count of 58-41.

With the victory, Lac qui Parle Valley upgrades its record to 11-16 on the campaign.

Next up, the Owls play the West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) in a A Section 6 challenge, on Monday, February 26. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 21-3 record after their 75-60 non-league win over B O L D (Olivia, MN).
