Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Palmer Bulldogs (Palmer, TX) and the host Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), saw Palmer's basketball squad hold off Mexia by a tally of 70-67.

With the victory, Palmer improves its record to 24-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Westwood (Palestine, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 25-8. Westwood won 86-69 in their recent non-league challenge against Kemp (Kemp, TX)
