Indiana High School Basketball - Sheridan holds off Waldron

February 23, 2024: Sheridan, IN 46069

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) and the visiting Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN), saw Sheridan's basketball squad hold off Waldron by a tally of 59-56.

With the victory, Sheridan improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to University (Carmel, IN) to confront the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. University won 82-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Phalen Leadership Academy (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Mohawks confront the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 28. Waldron will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 66-45 league loss to South Ripley (Versailles, IN).
