The Friendswood Mustangs softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Lamar Texans to 4 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Friendswood improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Clear Falls (League City, TX) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, February 24. The Knights come into the game with a record of 8-4. Clear Falls lost 7-5 in their recent non-league game against A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX)
