The Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) softball routed the visiting North Saxons (Torrance, CA), 8-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Cibola (Yuma, AZ). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Cibola held off Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ), 10-4, in a non-league bout.

The Saxons now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Basha for a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. North will confront a Bears squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
