Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), 75-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 26-5 on the season. The Barons travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 26. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 20-6. Miller School of Albemarle won 95-73 in their recent non-league bout against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA)
