New Jersey High School Basketball - Burlington City tops New Egypt
February 24, 2022: Burlington, NJ 08016 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Burlington City Blue Devils (Burlington, NJ) and the visiting New Egypt Warriors (New Egypt, NJ), saw Burlington City's basketball squad knock off New Egypt by a count of 56-39.
With the victory, Burlington City upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Brearley lost 68-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ)
Next up, the Warriors play the Pemberton Hornets (Pemberton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 25. New Egypt will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record.
