Georgia High School Baseball - Taylor County loses to Lamar County
February 24, 2023: Butler, GA 31006 The Lamar County Trojans crushed the host Taylor County Vikings baseball team by a tally of 6-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league bout on Monday, February 27. Lamar County will face a Hornets team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.
Next, the Vikings face the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 27. Taylor County will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA).
