The Red Mountain Mountain Lions nudged the host Saguaro Sabercats baseball team by a tally of 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Mountain Lions now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host El Dorado for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. Red Mountain will face a Golden Hawks team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 2-4.

Next, the Sabercats face the St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 25. Saguaro will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ).
