Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH), 58-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crestview upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Cougars host Huron (Huron, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 16-6. Huron won 61-37 in their recent non-league bout against Northwood (Northwood, OH)
