Michigan High School Basketball - Munising tops Manistique
February 24, 2023: Manistique, MI 49854 Munising Mustangs (Munising, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI), 59-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Munising upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Norway (Norway, MI) to play the Knights in a Mid-Peninsula bout on Tuesday, February 28. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 13-5.
Next up, the Emeralds play the Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 28. Manistique will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Modeltowners come into the bout with a 0-16 record after their 63-49 non-league loss to Escanaba (Escanaba, MI).
